Call for abstracts



Abstracts must be submitted electronically using the format provided on the website (see "Registration").

Guidelines for Preparation of Abstracts:The abstracts should be prepared in English with 500 words a maximum (no more than 3500 characters with spaces), in which title, author's (co-authors) name and organization(s) are required. Abstract title is written by capital letters in bold. The abstract should contain background, purpose, methods, results and conclusions. Please identify which topic you prefer that your abstract belong to and the person who will make the presentation at the Symposium. Please, use Times New Roman 12 pt. The whole abstract including title, names and organizations should not exceed 1 page (Format "A4"). Upon receiving the abstract, the organizers will send a message to the author notifying the receipt. We strongly recommend that the author contact the organizers to confirm whether the abstract has been received in case you did not receive a prompt notification.

Abstracts will be reviewed for scientific merit and content by the Review Committee. Authors will be notified whether their abstracts have been accepted by March 15, 2009.

The format of presentations.The choice for authors is technical paper in an Oral presentation mode or Poster. In an oral presentation mode there will be 20 minutes for presentation of slides, which will include an allowance for two minutes of clarification questions. Posters of size 100x120 cm will be located on the poster panel during the poster session of the given topic. The presenting author should be present near the poster during the session.

The organizers of the Symposium reserve the right to change the format of the presentation during the Abstracts' selection.
